Hi, I’m Foreman! I came from a Texas high-kill shelter where I waited for a new home for 8 months.  I am housetrained, kennel/crate trained (I crate quietly every night 8pm-7:30am), very good on leash, only chew my toys or treats, wait nicely for my muddy paws to be wiped, do not beg for food or counter surf,  do not have separation anxiety, not bothered by thunderstorms, not an excessive barker, have low grooming needs and shed much less than a lab. I am a good eater but not a chow-hound and will share food and toys. I am a great size at 50lbs - my foster mom compares me to a small lab. Commands I know: kennel, sit, wait, down, place, heel, leave it, up, free, no, & potty. Things I LOVE: car rides, toys, walks, dogs and all people. I REALLY want to be friends with men, but if I haven’t met them yet, they scare me. I will bark at them, but if they give me treats before trying to pet me, they are my new best friend within minutes. Cats look tasty to me, so it's best for me not to be around them, although foster mom thinks I could possibly be trained to leave them alone as I am showing great self-control. I am not interested in the gerbils and hamster at my foster home. I have a lot of energy so I hope I can have a home with a fenced back yard or lots of trips to the dog park so I can run and play. I would especially love to have a doggie sibling that wants to play. I can play gentle, but my favorite is wrestling and playing rough, even with dogs twice my size! I am brave, curious and really athletic, so would love to try hiking, biking, running, hunting, agility, flyball, dock jumping, etc. I've been a good boy waiting for a home, please fill out an adoption form so I can meet you!
 
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $385.00
