Hi, I’m Daisy! I’m a 6 month old lab mix who traveled here from Kentucky to find a family to love. I’m told that I’m a sweetheart. I just know that I love snuggling and napping with my people. I stick pretty close to them throughout the day since I know they’ll take care for me. Aside from following my people around, I like looking out the window and playing with my toys. My favorite toys are a big stuffed puppy and a tennis ball, but I like most toys as long as you’ll play with me.

I already know how to sit and am working on other commands. If I jump or chew on something that you don’t want me to, I can be redirected pretty easily. There’s not a fenced yard where I live, so I’m working extra hard at being a good leash walker. I like exploring outside when it’s quiet and calm and I’m getting more comfortable with new things like new people, animals, or noises.   If I do get startled when I’m outside, I might try to run back home. Sometimes I can be comforted with a treat, but sometimes I just want to get back to my couch. If you really want to spend time with me away from the house, let’s hop in the car and I’ll be happy! After a full day, I’d love to sleep with you at night, but I’m really good at sleeping in my kennel too. Other than a little protesting at bedtime, I’m very quiet. My foster mom is so proud because I’m really good at going potty outside and haven’t had any accidents in the house!
