Lola is a 2 year old sweet standard poodle. She's a breeder release and therefore gets nervous around new people and loud sounds. She loves to explore the backyard, sit and gaze at the world and then take quiet time in her crate. Once she trusts you, she'll welcome some chin scratches and pets. Lola is very smart and is doing well at adjusting to her new life. I've never heard her bark or whine, she is a quiet girl. Lola is working on potty training. She is starting to understand "go outside". As long as she is taken outside often, she will likely not have too many accidents. She sleeps all night in her crate and has not had any accidents. She's not comfortable on a leash or being walked yet.
Lola loves having other animals around and would do best in a home with a calm/mature resident dog/s who she can continue to learn from. She has seen our cat and seems to be afraid of it. Lola does not have one aggressive bone in her body, so I think she would do ok with older kids once she gets to know them. She'll thrive in a home that can continue to help regain trust in humans and build her confidence up.
