Meet Jessie! Jessie is the best boy! He’s loving, cuddly, sweet, kind, mellow, and so many more amazing things. However Jessie is also a puzzle. He is incredibly skinny, but isn’t motivated to eat. And just when you get him to eat and find something he likes it changes by dinner time. We have found that mixing certain human foods with his kibble has been the best route to go. We also have learned that he likes to eat when his humans eat. He’s also kind of a princess and enjoys being hand fed. Despite all of these things Jessie is still not putting on weight the way he should. Jessie is phenomenal with children and his family! However Jessie has shown us that he doesn’t like certain men. Unfortunately we also haven’t been able to figure out the rhyme or reason for that. The few men that he’s had issues with haven’t had a similar appearance or similar clothing style so the best we can come up with is that there’s some thing within their personality that triggers him to lunge. But again that is very few and far between and never ever happens to his family, women, or children. He has been to the vet and worked with Training yet still is this big puzzle to us.

Now back to all of the amazing qualities… this is the type of dog that will be your best friend forever. He’s extremely attached but not super glued to his person’s side. He loves going on walks, car rides, and playing in the yard. Once he warms up he loves playing with stuffed toys and his babble ball! He’s hilarious with them!!! He’s housetrained and potty trained. He’s good on a leash but occasionally gets distracted and will pull towards that distraction. He absolutely detests kennels and will sit in there and cry. Jessie really is amazing but his people will have to be beyond amazing.
