“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.” Quote by Josh Billings | ||||

Flint is dreamy sweet, affectionate and has been very social with dogs, people, and one lucky cat. We don't exactly know what breeds he is, we call him Shepherd-X but are guessing there is a lot of lab in him and his tail reminds us of a undocked Australian Shepard, but your guess is as good as ours. Whatever our mystery man is he sure got all of the best qualities from his ancestors. He weighs around 58lbs and is approx. 1-2 years old. He is super gregarious and eager to make friends. He acts like he doesn't know how cool he is and sometimes he needs a little help boosting his confidence in new places. It's been fun to see him settle in. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is more of a 'catch me if you can' kind of guy and not so much a 'rough and rowdy' player. Our ideal home for him would be with a confident, social dog companion who can be good role model and matches his play style so they can run and chase each other to their hearts content. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and all around great to hang out with. Flint loves his stuffy toys and carries them around the house always ready for a game of fetch. He is gentle and pretty chill most of the time, but he can get pretty goofy when playing as he is still a young lad with a lot of wiggles to get out. Flint is a great road trip buddy, he delights in taking car rides and just hanging out in the backseat watching the world go by. He loves being told what a good boy he is and is eager to learn obedience and other fun things that involve butt scrtches and treats. He really enjoys taking walks and is happy on leash around other dogs (although his is working really hard on not pulling on the leash and trying to greet everyone he sees). Thanks to his Shepherd genes we have found that he takes his role as king of the neighborhood watch very seriously and can be talkative if there is a lot of activity outside and can be sensitive to his environment. Overall, he is an awesome dog with a lot of love to give. He'd love to find a home of his own. Is that with you?
