Hi! My name is Bo previously known as Ellery and I'm a 1 year old black lab mix. I am a super sweet dog and would make a great addition to your family. I have lots of energy and absolutely love playing fetch - I always bring the ball back and drop it right at your feet - it's my favorite thing ever. I also love play fighting/wrestling with other dogs, but I'm very gentle and know how to respond to other pup's boundaries. When I’m done playing I love to cuddle up and sleep at your feet. Whenever new dogs or people come into my space, I'm very friendly, and I never jump or bark at people. I live with a little human too and I really really like them. She gives me kisses goodnight every night and I love her!
I've been to doggy daycare and had a great time. I'm fully crate trained and actually like sleeping in my crate! I've also gone through level 1 obedience training and passed with flying colors because I'm super smart. I know how to sit, lie down, stay, leave it, shake and come when called. I was also getting comfortable with going on leash walks, but bringing treats has really been helping me to not pull and I'll need a bit more training. I have quite a bit of energy and would do well in a home where I could play with another dog to tire myself out, or a house with a large yard where we could play fetch and I can run a lot. I have quite an interest in squirrels and other small critters. My owners were working on helping redirect my attention so I wasn't always in "hunt mode", but I'm still working on it. I would probably do best in a home without any cats for this reason as well. I haven’t had any accidents in my foster families home, but they do take me out often or have me in my crate while they are gone. I am so smart. sweet, handsome, and have nothing but love to give to other dogs and humans!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00
