Hi Guys!! My name is Bandit!! I’m a 5-month-old, super sweet Corgi / Jack Russel Terrier mix, and boy am I looking forward to meeting my forever family!

I’m very friendly and love getting a lot of attention! I love playing with the 7-month-old resident dog in my foster home. She’s trying to teach me how to play fetch, but I’m not very good at it!  I love playing outside, rolling in the grass, playing tug of war, and getting lots of belly rubs! My favorite activity though is snuggling with my humans.

I’m motivated by food (I LOVE treats), but also by lots of love and praise! I’m currently learning all my basic commands and will need someone to keep working with me on them! I get super excited to meet new people, and like to jump up and give lots of kisses and attention, so we’re working on staying down!

My foster mom says I’m the best snuggle buddy she’s ever had (I love getting right up in her face for lots of kisses)!! When it’s time to go to bed, I sleep in my crate. I only cry for a minute or two, and then I don’t make a peep all night unless if I have to go potty. I haven’t had any accidents in my crate yet and my foster family is so proud of me!  

I am working on potty training since I’m such a young guy, but with many regular trips outside I haven’t had too many accidents in the house! I’m not very good at signaling when I need to go, so watching me until I’m fully trained will be important!

I’d make a great family dog and am really good with kids!! I’ve never met a cat, so I don’t know how I would handle one (I’m sure I’d be pretty curious about it)! I love having another dog, but if I was the only pup in the house, I’d be ok too since I love not having to fight for attention and snuggle time. I have so much fun in my big backyard running and getting my energy out, however, I would also do well in an apartment since I’m quiet and small!! I love walks, but need a little help still not pulling on my leash (I’m still a puppy and get so excited to see everything!)

I have super cute stumpy legs, and the best-looking ears on the block. I have a tail that never stops wagging, and soft fur that loves to be pet. I look a lot bigger in my pictures than I really am (still under 20 lbs and short as can be)!

Don’t I sound like your new best friend? I would be a great addition to any family, and I CAN’T WAIT TO MEET YOU!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
