Elvis is a happy and active 2-year-old pup who has been adjusting well to living in a home. He is smart, full of positive energy and loves to be by your side and occasionally gets underfoot. Elvis likes to meet new people and dogs. His first move is to give you a thorough sniff and lay his head on your arm. He also gets along with cats when indoors. He stayed a weekend in a home with a cat recently and it was reported he liked to play with the cat more than the dog! He is most content hanging outside with his foster sister. He enjoys walks and walks well on a leash. He does get startled by loud noises and reacts by being cautious at times, but a treat and some encouragement go a long way. Elvis is an active pup who would do well in a home that could give him regular exercise. He is almost house-trained and currently does well when taken out on a regular schedule. He is working on staying calm in his kennel. Right now, in his kennel it takes him about five minutes to quiet down at night and when he can’t see you, but he still whines when you are within sight.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $395.00
