Nala is a very sweet 1-year old Husky mix,  who loves people so much. She is so much fun to have in our house. We have a 12 year old female greyhound and they basically ignore each other which is fine by us! Nala will run up to you and plop in your lap if you will let her, she’s smaller than most dogs we have fostered, so its a nice change.
Currently mom works from home so we are home with her most of the time, but we have left her in the kennel when going to various events and she seems to do fine. She does whine and bark on occasion when left alone in the kennel-at least initially so should probably not go somewhere with shared walls. We think she would do great with another dog or as an only dog getting all the attention :)
 
She goes in her kennel at night and is quiet all night, we have the kennel in the bedroom right next to ours and we keep the door open so she knows we are close which I think helps her feel connected. She eats really well (in her kennel) and appears to be very food motivated, so we know she will do really well in obedience classes!
She likes to follow us around the house, and wants to be close to her humans, so its important to have her kennel close to her humans.
 
We take her on 2 walks a day and we are working on walking on a leash. We think she would benefit from a gentle leader where she can learn to walk right next to you. She likes bully sticks  frosty paws and loves to play with her toys.
Despite her being young, she is very well mannered. We do keep an eye on her when not in the kennel because she likes to find things around the house and bring them to her bed :)
 
The family that adopts this sweet loving girl is SO LUCKY, she’s really a GEM!
 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $575.00
