Hi, my name is Fred. I'm a lab mix around 5 months old. Besides the 2 humans in the house, I live with Stella, the resident Golden Retriever who is almost 13 years old, and 3 cats. I don't bother Stella much, but I have taken naps with her. The cats are mainly outside and I try to play with them but they sure do let me know if I start playing too rough. I think a couple of the most important things that you need to know about me is that since I have come to live with my foster family, I haven't had one accident in the house ( yay for me) and I sleep all night in my crate - which makes my people very happy. I might let out a few barks when they put me in the crate but then I curl up and go to sleep on the blanket that is in there. I love my people and I tend to follow them from room to room - even into the bathroom if they don't have the door fully shut. Once they sit down, wherever that may be, I tend to find a comfy place to lay or I find my toys to play with. I like my chew toys and my little stuffed teddy bear, which I have had for a whole week and it is still with stuffing! I also like to chase balls. I love to go for walks. I'm working on that whole heeling thing and not wanting to play tug-of-war with the leash but slowly but surely I'm learning - especially if there are treats involved. I love my treats! I know my name and I even come when called, at least most of the time. I also know what the word sit means and I sit like a nice little gentleman for my treats and I also have to sit before I get my food. I love my pets and scratches from anyone that will give them to me. There are just adults in the home but I did get to meet some kids who sat in the grass with me and gave me lots of attention! They say I'm part lab but my foster mom doesn't think I will get that big. If you're looking for a medium size, 4-legged, happy-go-lucky companion who will keep you company and join you outside while you're working in your garden or going for a walk, please choose me! I promise to always greet you with lots of excitement and tail wagging!
