Hello, My name is Elsa and I'm 1 year old and 32 lbs. I am a great guard dog. I pick my people and I will protect them with whatever I have. I have the most silly, quirky big personality you will ever see! But I have to trust you before you will be able to see it. I follow my foster mom around the house no matter where she goes. She, for some reason, thinks she’s allowed to go to the bathroom without me. I will protest until she opens the door! She forgets we are a package deal. When its bedtime, or nap time, I have to be under the blanket with her. I will force my way under if she doesn’t lift the blanket for me. Although I love my person, I am not very welcoming to new people. I will bark and show teeth and I can be intimidating, But that is why my mom says ill be a great guard dog for someone. If people come over, she puts me in my kennel in another room with a chew toy and I settle down fairly quickly.

I warm up to females before I do males, and it takes me a long time to get there but I am so worth it. I have a sister cat and I just love her, she doesn’t play with me but I want her to play so much! I also have 2 foster dog brothers and They are the best thing since sliced bread! Although, I don’t care to meet new dogs. I probably shouldn’t go to a home with adult dogs unless you are willing to do VERY slow introductions over a period of time, but I do warm up to puppies real quick! I am fully potty trained, House trained, Kennel trained, I know how to sit and shake. I walk on a leash fine too, but I do pull a little bit but we are working on it! I promise you that if you give me a chance and the time I need to trust you, I will give you all the kisses and cuddles you can handle, and you will laugh all day long!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
