I'm Amanda, but the human kids call me Mia (me-ah). I am a young Shepherd mix puppy around 4 months old with lots of love. 

 
I was found along side an interstate in South Dakota with two other dogs. Unfortunately for me, I was the only one that got injured. I had a broken front leg that broke in my growth plate - making a repair hard. Life is better without having pain though.
 
At my foster house, I have dogs of all sizes to play with (in short spurts as I need my leg to heal). There's also two young kids (7 & 3) who I adore. There isn't any cats, however I don't mind the chickens and ducks in the backyard. 
 
I do great in my kennel with very minimal sounds or accidents. However I do get a bit excited when I first come out and may tinkle. I am also getting better with house training, but again may still have an accident. 
 
I am learning the leash - due to the amputation, I was only able to leash around the yard. As long as I get a break every few feet to lay down and rest, I'm good to continue walking (but I also don't mind the occasional carry me ). 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00
