Hello, My name is Roxie. I am a 4 y/o lab mix but I am only 29lbs. I am no more than a foot tall. So I could be considered a pocket-sized lab! Best of both worlds! I came from a really bad situation in Kentucky. I just weaned my third and final litter of puppies. As they are going to their homes, I am ready to find a place I can call my own. I am a big foodie. I love food. Because of my past life, my foster mom doesn't think I got fed on a regular basis. I am starting to know that I will be fed everyday, twice a day, so I'm trying to break my habit of counter surfing and going to the trash. Even though I have had a really bad past, I am very well behaved and such a sweet little lady. So I am not letting my past define my future. I love to snuggle and lay on the couch and take a nap. I like all the other dogs that live in my foster home. I don't pay any attention to the cats that roam around the house. If anything, I get in the middle of when my foster siblings go chasing after some cats. I don't like that and I want them to stop. I REALLY love the kids that live there and not just trying to beg for their food. I tried to beg from my foster mom, but she shut me down right away so I haven't begged from her again. I am a work in progress. I like to be around my people. I do go in my kennel during the day when my foster mom goes to work. I do sleep in my kennel as long as I'm in the same room with you. I am mostly house-trained. I've not had an accident for quite a long time. I like to go for a walk and I'm pretty good at walking on a leash. I also like to go for a car ride. I can have energy when needed but my favorite past time is to sleep on the couch and take a nap. Of course, if there is food around, I will wake up and wanting it. I'm not one to play with toys. I don't chew on things at all, but I do like to chew on chewy bones. I am ready for my next chapter in life! Are you ready to go with me?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
