2-year old Yodi has two goals in life:  To be near his human at all times and to be as cozy as possible while doing so.  Yodi is a super sweet lovebug of a dog who has become extremely attached to his foster mom during his short stay.  He is perfectly content as long as he is near her.  Yodi hangs out during the week at her office and is a perfect, low key office dog.  He has been calm and accepting to every person he has met, including men and young children.  He does great during car rides, and is working on going into his crate.  While he doesn't love going in his crate, he settles almost immediately as long as he can be in the same room as you.  He does not handle being crated and left well and will howl determinedly for quite a while.  He walks well on his leash and is well housebroken, with no accidents.  He does great with two short walks a day and his favorite activity seems to be napping on the couch or out on the patio while keeping an eye on the squirrels.

Yodi needs to be with a family who is able to be with him most of the time.  Someone who works from home or in a dog friendly environment is a must as he will not do well being crated and alone all day.  Looking for a dog to take on road trips, to nights out at the brewery?  Yodi is your guy.  We think that Yodi has some separation anxiety, which should be addressed with on-going training, but he is also naturally an extremely devoted and loyal dog, so he will always be his best with a person or family who is around as much as possible.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
