Hi, My name is Lotus which means re - birth. I came from a huge hoarding situation and now have a new life in which I am so thankful for.

I have a soft clean bed, good food , I'm a bit of a picky eater at times, and lots and lots of love.
Lotus does best when fed in a area away from other dogs. I think its because she is afraid they will steal it. She is not aggressive about it, she just won't eat. I've found out she loves steak, cooked carrots, cheese, hamburger and chicken. She's been on meds for her ear infection so I need to make sure she eats food with it. They may have also been fed a lot of table scraps in her previous situation as she's not fond of many wet foods but has eaten dry food at times. I've just cooked a few days worth and kept it in fridge. She sits by me on the floor or couch and eats. I'd say I might spoil her a bit but who wouldn't.
She loves to be outside exploring everything, rolling in the grass and smelling the butts of other dogs.
She gets along with my big dog and the two little dogs, my 3 cats and loves watching the chickens. She likes all people and never growls, barks or bites. I have her in a penned area when not at home sometimes or she also free roams like my other dogs. She is not destructive and always just finds a place to curl up and wait for you.
She does stairs just fine but needs help getting up on the couch or bed. She has a tiny snore and a favorite blanket.
She's house trained on schedule or will pace when she needs to go outside.  She has used a pee pad in her pen if I'm gone for too long.
She's learning about toys and loves a soft rawhide every once in awhile.
She's a very smart dog and usually let's you know when she needs or wants something. I have her on a long light weight tieout if not leashed when we are outside as she loves to explore..a lot!
Lotus would make the perfect family member but if you have aggressive dogs she may not get her chance to shine her light as she's still a bit timid.
She is just a sweet tiny love bug who deserves your love.
