Paco is a sweet, shy, and reserved young gentleman around 7 years old.  Although he follows his canine foster siblings and human foster mom around, he still keeps us at a little distance.  Paco’s house training is a work in progress – at least in part because he’s not very good at letting mom know when he needs to go out.  Some good news is that he’s only marked in the house once.  I haven’t been putting him in his crate at night or when I go out, I don’t want to force him into doing anything at this stage and he quickly “adopted” one of the dog beds as his own.  He has gone into his crate a few times on his own, though, particularly when he has a treat.  I also haven’t tried walking Paco on leash yet for similar trust-building reasons, but having watched him outside and seeing his generally calm and reserved demeanor, I suspect he’ll do well.  I can’t imagine that he’d ever be a puller!  As I look back, he’s really come a long way in just one short week – he’s started wagging his tail, interacting with his housemates and exploring his surroundings a bit more every day.  So, if you’re looking for a small, quiet companion, have a bit of patience and aren’t put off by his reserve – Paco just may be the perfect dog for you!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, dental, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $350.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
