Penelope is the sweetest Mountain Curr mix. She’s playful and fun, with typical puppy tendencies. She loves to play with our resident pups & loves squeaky toys! Crocs & sandals seem to disappear when she’s around, and she really likes to make shoe laces “disappear!” When taken out on a consistent potty schedule, she does great & has had very few accidents! We keep doors closed so that there’s nowhere for her to sneak off and have an accident. We’re working on kenneling up to 4-hour periods during the day, and she has done well overnight. We have been working on her comfort levels with a leash, as she does whine & pull a bit. She does pretty well on a lead, and likes to walk around the yard a bit before she finds a place to go potty. We do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have 3 kids that tend to keep her in the yard. She's wandered off of the curb, but never far, as we've always been close. I do work from home currently, and because it is summer break, she's been spoiled with constant interaction! She plays fetch, and is working on "sit" and "drop" commands. Everyone that sees her recognizes how cute she is & has mentioned how quickly she’ll find a home once she’s up for adoption! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
