Charlie is a four month old Anatolian Shepherd around 34lbs., who is destined to be a very big boy!  He came to the rescue with his brother, Blue, and they have been living with four other dogs and enjoying a big backyard and lots of toys.  Charlie is already a very smart dog, who will need a family that will enforce consistent good manners and behaviors.  Anatolian shepherds are very large, very smart, and quite independent dogs.  He has already learned how to make my other dogs go outside when he doesn't want to be out alone.  He is much more outgoing than his brother and will have no problem trying to be the boss of his new family and home.  He loves to lay in the grass and chew on a bone and peacefully hang out with the other dogs.  Charlie is a very friendly boy, but he is still a bit nervous around new people and is not yet confident when he walks on a leash.  He kennels very well when we are not home but he sleeps in the family room with all the be other dogs at night.  Charlie rarely barks and is usually a pretty mellow puppy.  

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
