Hello I'm Marshall! I'm a collie/retriever mix born approx. 1/26/21. I'm thought to be a collie/retriever mix. I've come all the way from Kentucky to find my forever home with my brother and sister.  I'm only 23 lbs too so I shouldn't get too big. Maybe around 40-45 lbs. I am potty trained and will ask at the door to go out. I like my kennel, it's nice and cozy when I'm all worn out from playing with my siblings! I sleep in my kennel and hang out there when my foster family is not home. Nobody knows what happened to me back in Kentucky. For a puppy, I am pretty timid, but I am working on it. Big people kinda scare me, but kids are great! When I first met my foster mom I was a little nervous around her. Fortunately my foster family dogs and kids were awesome and showed me the ropes. It took about a week (and treats!) for my foster mom to earn my trust but we're good friends now. I like following her around during the day, but my favorite time is when we all sit down and relax together. I especially love snuggling up with my foster brother. Speaking of which, I'm very good with other dogs. I can be rough and tumble with the big dogs but super gentle with the babies. There are even older dogs in the house and I listen to them when they tell me not to bother them. Not to brag, but I am very polite for a puppy. There are cats in my foster home - one of which will even play with and nuzzle me! I do like to play chase with the cat a little...but not in a mean way, and the cat likes our game too.  I also like to go on walks, but sometimes I get scared when we meet big people. If I have another dog with me I feel a lot more confident. I don't mind riding in the car, I mostly just doze. I have a healthy amount of energy, but I like to relax and nap too. For fun I like to play with and chew on bones and toys. I'm even learning how to play fetch! I love it when people throw the ball for me, I just don't really want to let it go yet..... If you can find it in your heart to show me the good life and that people are not scary at all, I will give you all the love in the world. You just have to open your heart for me. Are you willing to give me a chance?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
