Meet Beamer! This big brown eyed sweetie has scruffy fur with big brown spots. He loves to snuggle up and lay his head on your knee.    He also likes to hug and lick your ears.    He was returned into foster care through no fault of his own. His adoptive parents had a preemie newborn and their life was turned upside down.    A puppy and early baby spelled too much for them.    He likes playing with his foster sister and when she tells him she doesn’t want to play he barks at her and nudges her to get her to join in. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn’t.    He doesn’t bark when he sees other dogs while out on a walk. He just stops and stares at them.    The other dog in the house tells him off when he doesn’t want to play and Beamer says Oh, ok and moves along. He loves his chew bones and sits quite nicely for a treat.    He walks nice on a leash and sometimes looks back checking in with you to see if he is leading in the right direction.    He is good about going potty in the front yard and coming right back in.    But he needs to be on a schedule and has some anxiety pees, but that might be from all of the excitement of being with 2 other little dogs in the house.    Beamer weighs 17.5 lbs. and loves to eat. He rides well in the car and patiently sits in the back on a leash.    He doesn’t particularly like his kennel, but quiets down after a little while.    Mostly he is content to lay at your feet while you work and just be near you.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595
