Sassy Cass is a spunky dauschund mix born approx. 1/18/21 that loves to cuddle and is extremely quick for her short stature. Cassie is working on her house training, but takes cues from our bigger dogs to use the bathroom outside. She can whine a bit when she’s first put into her kennel, but Cassie does spend overnights without issue. She’s never barked in the kennel, or really outside of playing with other dogs. She does well with younger kids and dogs, although we haven’t had her interact with cats.

Cassie does not like being left out of the action and will plant herself in the middle of you and your activity to get her attention. She is hesitant to walk on the leash, but honestly it just might be too heavy for her little legs. On car rides Cassie prefers to sit up front or in your lap if she can, and is surprisingly agile. Her puppy energy lasts for about 10 minutes and then she’ll settle into chewing on a bone or watching the others play, she’s very chill.

Cassie does love to wrestle with our bigger dogs and isn’t afraid of their size. She has been left alone for 6 hours without an accident, as well as overnight. She will be a hard puppy to say goodbye to!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
