Hi, I'm Ricky! I'm a 2 year old Westie who is looking for my forever home. My foster mom and dad think I'm the best. I fit in well with my four-legged foster siblings. I don't quite get why they want to play with me though. My foster mom hopes once I get more comfortable, I will loosen up a bit. I love going for walks and have excellent leash manners. When not out walking, you can find me curled up somewhere close to my foster family. I'm potty trained and do well on a schedule.   I do not like being in the kennel, so my foster family doesn't make me use it.  At night, I was told fosters usually sleep in a kennel but since I showed them I'm a great boy who will sleep at the end of the bed and not make a peep, they let me get away with it. I do well with all the little pups I have met and get a little nervous around bigger dogs. I would do best in a home with another small dog who isn't looking to play with me. I would also do really well as a solo pup. One thing my foster mom has noticed is that I get nervous when my family leaves. I cry and bark a little. My foster mom feels it's getting better and hopes it will continue to improve as I get used to their schedules. I am SO EXCITED when my foster parents come home and can't quit wagging my tail and giving them tons of kisses. That being said, I would not do well in a home with shared walls. I am a little timid and would also do best in a home with older, calm kids. Do you think you could love me?
