Hi I’m Maria (Ria for short), that’s….Marvelous, Adorable, Ready to learn, Intelligent, Anxiously awaiting my furever home. I came to Minnesota on August 22nd from Kentucky with my 8 siblings. It was a long ride but worth it because we had spent our entire life under a trailer laying in some really stinky stuff! They say I am a Blue Heeler mix born approx. 5/20/21, whatever that means. All I know is I am so happy to have a soft blanket to crash on and yummy food to eat. Right now I am living with one of my sisters, 2 four legged foster sisters that are big and foster mom & dad. I am learning a lot of things; like sometimes my foster sisters are tired and don’t want to play and I respect that,  it’s better to potty outside than inside (I have never pottied in my crate), when I am in my crate it’s quiet time and I sleep all night, some things are not to be chewed on, when my name is called to come and I get a treat (I love treats) and when mom says “sit” and I do I get another treat! Did I mention I LOVE treats! When we go on walks I am very excited to smell all the new things. I guess it’s not a good thing to wrap the leash around mom & dad’s feet or my sisters, oops, something else to learn. I really like chasing any bugs I can find, my favorite are the little white moths in the grass. Mom took my sister and me to the big city of Minneapolis to visit her son at work. We met a lot of his coworkers, of course everyone loved us. We went out for lunch and I was so tired I crashed under the table and slept the whole time. A different day we visited dad at his work. I have not met a person I don’t like and they all like me too. With all this visiting I’ve become a pro at car rides. The grandchildren came to visit and I was so excited. They are fun to chase around and are really good at snuggling and giving belly rubs. I like chasing toys if someone throws them and sometimes I bring them back. Mom says I am a typical puppy. I am eager to learn new things, I play hard and crash harder and love to be snuggled. I know mom, dad and my sisters adore me and would love to keep me but they keep talking about all the pups that need homes and love. They want to find me the perfect furever home so they can help more deserving dogs. Do you love playful energetic puppies, do you have time to help me continue to learn how to be a great dog, do you have a soft comfy place for me to crash and do you have yummy food and lots of treats? If so maybe you are my perfect furever home.
