Tundra is a sweet older husky. She is sweet and calm! She is potty trained on a schedule, which just means we are smart about when we let her out (right away in the am, after food, again in the afternoon and before bed). She is incredibly amazing with children. Gives kisses and lays next to them. She prefers to hang out in her kennel for now but I hope that as she learns how to be a dog dog she will realize that she can enjoy just laying around the house. Tundra was used as a puppy mill breeding dog. Everything is new to her. Taking a step off of the cement patio and onto the grass was a learning experience. It took Tundra several days to allow us to touch her. We are still working at not flinching when we reach for her. She is still very nervous around fast movements from humans. Fast dogs are totally ok. She loves other dogs. She has just started to act like she may play with them...she hasnt actually played quite yet. Tundra is a special lady and needs a kind patient family to spend forever with her.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
