Hi!  I'm Amelia & I'm a super friendly spunky LITTLE girl!  I was born approx. 12/25/20 and am around 17 lbs. I am more on the Chihuaha size than a Cattle Dog or Collie (both of which I've been suspected to be), but have a huge personality & a lot of love to give!  My foster mom says, that I sleep great in my kennel & have had no accidents overnight, although it takes me a few moments to accept that its time to sleep.  I cry for a bit, with a few protest barks, but will quiet down & crash, especially if I have a good chewy to work on until I fall asleep.  Amelia would do great with most dogs, she takes cues from a more grouchy older dog & full on puppy plays with the younger dogs.  She does growl when chewing on some toys or bones & play snaps when others try to take her things, but she is easily redirected.  She is also respectful of cats. Potty training is a work in progress & going pretty well! She has a case of FOMO, so she doesn't stop & fully empty her bladder, as there are other things to do outside!  A long walk first thing in the AM & a few times throughout the day would help her get on a schedule for potty time.  She will hold it all night, up to 10 hours, if she is super sleepy.  I think she would be fine with kids, especially a bit older, but she doesn't show any fear or aggression towards anyone she has met.  She does like to bark at the neighbors when she's outside, but is also easily redirected.  She would do amazing with a fenced yard to run & play, she is easily distracted, so we have been training basic commands outside off leash, with other dogs in the house. If you are looking for a little dog, with a big dog personality, and a great running or hiking partner, then Amelia is the girl for you!    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00
