Sallie Mae is a playful pup born approx. 7/4/21 who is ready for action. She is super curious and sweet, and is looking for someone who is ready for cuddles and snuggles galore. She will nestle into your neck or the crook of your arm. Sallie Mae is very alert and interested in every sound, scent and sight that is happening around her. Surprisingly, Sallie Mae is doing great on potty training, having an occasional accident indoors but doing most of her business outside. She is a quick study.  Sallie Mae is working on acing her crate training skills, sleeping through the night and she loves to listen to the piano when resting. She falls right to sleep when in the car and watches out the window as the world passes by. She is motivated by praise, treats, peanut butter, play and more peanut butter and will work hard for both. Sallie Mae plays hard with the resident 3yo lab and wants to do everything he does, including trying to find the easiest way into the cookie jar:) She gets along with several sizes of dogs. Sallie Mae is also great with kids of all sizes and enjoys the hustle and bustle they bring. Sallie Mae walks great on a leash solo but walks extremely well when walking with other dogs bc she wants to sniff whatever they sniff. When I say great, I mean great and at such a young age! No sitting and trying to get her to come with you for this girl. She is “small but mighty” and is excited to find her super special people.
 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
