Hello! My name is Vickie and I would love to share my story with you. I'm a 3 year old cattle dog/heeler mix originally from Texas. You see I found these amazing people one day when I was lost. They took me in and searched high and low for my people but had no luck. They loved me unconditionally and took good care of me, but they really weren’t dog people. They traveled a lot and were gone long hours. So with a heavy heart they knew I needed a new home so off to Minnesota I went (with a 3 page letter all about me!). 

I am a very sweet, caring, loving girl who wants to be by her people 24/7. I will be your shadow and follow you everywhere, but if you show me

patience and give me time, I ease up a little. I love to cuddle on the couch or in your bed, but I also sleep fantastic in my kennel. Did I mention I’m fully potty trained and kennel trained?! I never stray to far away from you outside, but when I do all you have to do is call my name and I instantly come back! My foster mom says I have the best recall she’s ever seen :) I do have separation anxiety and my kennel is my safe zone when I’m home alone. All I need is a treat or chew and the word “kennel” and I’ll walk right in! I have stayed happily in my kennel for up to 10 hours with absolutely zero problems. I love going for walks and do very well with my harness. When I start pulling, my foster mom gives me a quick correction and I instantly return back to walking like a champ. When at home I love rolling in the grass, chasing my foster brother around, chewing on bones, or napping! I’m a real good girl and I have a whole lot of love to give, will you be that person I can give it to?
