Hi, I’m Scooter! I’m a Great Pyrennes/Lab mix born approx. 5/2/21. I’m a big, mellow guy, weighing in just over 50 pounds. If you don’t instantly fall in love with my big brown eyes, you’ll adore my playful puppy prance. I love going on walks and am a really good walker; I don’t pull and I’m friendly with all the dogs I meet. Right now, I tend to like dogs more than people and am shy when meeting someone new. Just be patient and I’ll open up. I’m equally good with women and men, children and adults, as long as they go slow with meeting me. I make instant friends with other dogs, big and small, and love to run around with them. I do well as the only dog in my foster home, but I’d probably also enjoy a doggy friend; I have yet to meet a cat. I’m gentle and rarely bark. But I am a puppy and I will chew on anything I can find. I enjoy chewing on my toys and will need reminders about what’s a toy versus the furniture. I’m working on potty training and kenneling and can make it overnight with no accidents. I have peed in the house and my kennel a few times, but I do well if taken out every 3-4 hours during the day. I don’t like going in my kennel and will try to get out unless someone stays nearby and is visible to me. If someone is around, then I can settle and eventually fall asleep. I’d much rather sleep on the couch though and can’t wait for a forever family to take my naps with!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, dental, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
