Twain is a hound mix- or so we think born approx. 7/3/21. He was abandoned on a farm and has presumably foraged for his first few months of life. He loves consistent meals of chicken breast and rice. He loves to “nip” or “suckle”- so a Kong with a bit of peanut butter or pumpkin puree helps him calm down. He’s a snuggler and nussler. He loves walks and sticks, but watch out for mushrooms! He loves to eat them, even though he has learned the lesson the hard way. He is always keeping mom on her feet and we sleep like logs at night. He is a great listener and is learning quickly. He can’t wait to go to the vet so he can meet dog friends- we have them lined up!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
