Well, Hi There!

 

My name is Topanga Diane. I'm a Pocket Beagle about 5-6 years old, but, as you know, a lady never tells her real age (Plus we don't know for sure ). I was released by my breeder about a year ago and let me tell you, that was no picnic. 

 

I was kept in a cage, only allowed out to breed and basically spent the first 5 years of my life having litter after litter. So, as you might guess, I'm exhausted! I have a few minor medical issues but overall I'm in good health.

 

For the past year I've lived with my foster family. They have kids as young as 7 and two other dogs, my foster brothers, Moose and Jughead. I love other dogs! In fact, if you're away from home a lot, I really would like to have a friend at home with me. I've made really big strides in the last year but being left alone is an area of opportunity for me. 

 

I'm making up for lost time and I love to snuggle, take naps, Netflix and chill, whatever. I'm getting better at talking walks but I get so excited at all the new smells I can be a bit over eager at the beginning but once we get going I'm told I'm quite delightful (You may be carrying me back if we go to far, but I only weight about 10lbs)

 

If you have a backyard I guarantee I'll show you EVERY possible way a dog about my size can get out. I'm an expert at finding any critters that might be on, should I say "our" yard , and running them down. Occasionally this can lead me beyond the borders of said yard. Don't worry, we'll figure it out together.
