My name is Beck, but you can call me Becker too. I was rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri along with my brothers and other friends. I was told I am a “redhead” white chested Cavapoo. You know what they said about us Redheads, we are the ones with the brains and brawn. I weigh about 16 pounds when I arrived to MN, but I am already gaining weight slowly.
I arrived feeling super shut down, but I was able to come out of my shell the next day and I am so excited to explore the world outside the kennel. Everything is new to me. THAT big tree in the yard, the gentle breeze against my face, the wet grass under my feet, and even that spooky dark thing called shadow that follows me wherever I go, frightens me initially. I do come around quickly because I am so curious although I am still very careful with any intentions as I can’t make clear judgment easily from being kept in a confined area since I was born.
I was told I must be quite young, maybe a year and a half old. Hence I am quite playful and I have so much energy that I didn’t even know existed in me. I like to do these bunny jumps when I want to play, although sometimes my skittishness hinders me from fully letting go.
I would need someone who understands me and has patience to help me reconnect with this world again. I would often put my paw on you to let you know I really like you.
I am so happy and grateful to be given a chance to be a real pet, someone to love and would love me back for the rest of my life.
