Krystal is a Jack Russel Terrier Mix who was born approximately 10/2013.  If you're looking for a laid back, loyal companion and cheerful walking buddy, look no further!  Krystal is an older lady who enjoys naps, loves playing in the snow, going on walks, and hanging with her humans.

Personality:  She's mellow and happy to snooze for most of the day.  Loves her humans and does a little happy dance when they come home.  Enjoys being outside and walks, but doesn't require tons of exercise to be happy.  Krystal is a little anxious about separation and new environments, but has definitely relaxed as she's settled into her foster home.
 
Kids and pets:  Krystal gets defensive when startled or smothered.  She has snarled/nipped a few times when surprised by our grade school kids.  Would do best with older, respectful kids, or no kids.  Families with younger kids are likely not a good fit.  Krystal came to foster reportedly good with other dogs, but has not been exposed to dogs or cats with her foster.
 
Training:  Potty trained on a schedule and able to go a work day or overnight without any issues.  She doesn't enjoy being in her crate, but is fine sleeping in the fosters' bedroom in her crate and will settle down if in her crate while home alone.  She would also probably be fine out of her crate while home alone. Polite with her food and treats.
 
Noise:  Krystal rarely barks and instead speaks fluent piggy.  Her little grunts and snorts are adorable as are her gentle nose bops on the leg when she's trying to get your attention. 
 
She'd love a home of her own to finish out her golden years. 
 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $185.00
