Meet your new best friend, Hook, an adorable beagle born approx. 8/29/21! After a tough start to life, this little guy deserves nothing but the best.

Hook is an adorable, fun-loving puppy. He is always happy and his tail wags fast and furious to let you know. His tail has a little kink at the end, maybe it was stepped on or shut in a door at some point? He is very playful and loves to chase toys, he's even getting the hang of bringing back a ball. He particularly loves stuffed animals that squeak and mini-tennis balls.

Hook loves to be outside and sniff all around the backyard. He really likes to play with his foster sister, a large Golden Retriever. They are best buddies and even chew on the same nylabone together. Hook is great with kids and happily greets and licks his little human friends. He's not a biter like many puppies. He sometimes needs to be redirected to toys, but is happy to oblige.

Hook likes to find the biggest and softest dog bed for his naps, the bigger the better. He is doing great at potty training. We take him outside regularly throughout the day - always taking him out after getting up from a nap, playing or noticing him sniffing more than normal. We've had great success and he loves the praise he receives. He also whines if he is in his playpen and needs to go out, so he is starting to let us know and has very few accidents.

Hook is very food motivated and will be easily trainable and super smart! Apply today so you don't miss out :)

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $750.00
