Hi, my name is Gertrude. I am a 10-week-old pug, the last time my foster mom weighed me I was 3 pounds and I’m basically the cutest thing ever. I a m a very happy girl and I REALLY LOVE my people! I love my foster dad and the human foster brothers I live with that are 12 and 8. I came from a commercial breeder, so I probably didn’t have many toys and things, but I’m really do a great job of learning what to do with toys and I’m starting to even take them away from my Dane and lab foster brothers. I am almost potty trained on a schedule (I’m trying really hard but I’m still young and its very cold here), I love to play, nap, eat and did I say PLAY? I go out about every few hours to go potty and my foster family tells me to “go potty” and I try to listen! I am in a pop-up puppy pen when my foster family is gone during the day and I sleep in my kennel at nighttime. I do great in my kennel and it’s really helping me with learning about going potty outside. At nighttime when I’m in my kennel I don’t make noises unless I need to go potty. I just learned how to go up and down a few stairs to get to the yard. I’m still really little so my foster mom doesn’t let me do any big sets of stairs yet but once I grow up a bit, I should have no problem with stairs. I have lots of energy I love to run up and down the halls with my lab foster brother and play with my toy fox terrier foster sister! I love all other dogs, cats, kids and people and I want them to all love me!! Sometimes going outside isn’t my favorite but who can blame me when its 30 degrees outside! If the weather is nice, I LOVE to run and play and explore the outside and I am doing really well walking on a leash for being so young! I can’t wait to meet my forever family I know they are going to LOVE me!!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $750.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
