Roo is a sweet, spunky Shiba Inu puppy! She was born approx. 8/6/21. She loves stuffed toys, the bigger the better!
Roo has done well with kennel training & potty training. She will whine for a minute & then she is quiet in her kennel. During the day while I am at work she is in a dog playpen & most days she doesn’t have an accident! Roo is a typical puppy, full of energy. She likes to run figure eights around my feet as I walk outside in the yard with her, so I have to be careful not to trip!
Roo does well with my 3 young children & our 4 year old dog.
She does not bark or whine often, she is a quiet pup, who loves to play! She is very food motivated, I think she will train very well!
She was said to have an issue with her knees by the breeder who gave her to the rescue. You would never know it the way she happily bounces around! She was evaluated & she does have 2 “loose knees”. There is nothing that can be done at this point. Her hips are in good shape and she could take a joint supplement to help keep her knees lubricated. She may or may not need surgery much later in life. She'd love a forever home to call her own. Is that you?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $850.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
