Kathy is a 7 year old Shiba Inu around 20 lbs. She is small for her breed and blonder not as reddish which is common coloring for the breed. She is coming out her shell and is very playful and has a lot to say! Her tail is up and wagging and is happy. She loves toys and another mate to be playful with. She is great with kids and cats, still curious with the cats. She is house trained. I take her out about every 2 hours and slowly increase the time so she can be ok for up to 4 hours. She has a hard time on the leash but does really well if you have a fenced yard for her.....she could possibly adapt to walking now that she has come out of her shell and more curious and ready to explore. She does pretty well in the car, I have her in a kennel she feels safer that way. She could stay in the house up to 4 hours without an accident or you could put her in a locked room to be safe. She likes to gather toys in her bed, I think it is because she misses her pups. But that will fade. She is calm and easy and gets used to routine well. She'd love a patient and understanding adopter who will love her as part of the family.
