Hi I am Dakota, I came to Minnesota from South Dakota to find my forever home. I'm 2 years old and 53 lbs. First I want to say I have tons of energy and should get a few walks a day or time for zoomies around. I am working on not jumping up when I get excited or just trying to get your attention. My foster mom says I am very sweet and loving all the time. I have shown  interest in toys right away. My favorite game at the moment is trying to steal my foster sisters toys when she puts them down. My foster home currently has two other dogs which took me a minute to get used to since I'm the mid sized dog between the two. I know how to sit and shake. I'm currently working on kennel training but I'm still not 100% on going in. Once inside my kennel I tend to whine for a min. and then sleep the rest of the time while my foster mom/dad are at work. I've meet a few new people coming into the house with no issue. I tend to want all the attention they can give me and get excited enough to want belly rubs. I get very excited. I haven’t been around small children yet since coming to Minnesota. I've had no accidents in the house, I ride decent inside a car but tend to be up and down as I don’t want to miss anything. My new home should have plenty of time for me, I will still need training and would probably be best with someone who understands my breed/ and or has had experience with my breed. Are you the home for me?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
