Hi, I'm Perseus.  I was born approx. 3/30/21 and am 54 lbs. I am a boxer, very smart, inquisitive and lots of fun.  I have plenty of energy, but love snuggle time and napping too.

 

I can be mischievous if you are distracted or leave me unsupervised to long. I am a friendly boy and want to play with anyone who will pay me attention. I've learned about stairs, leashes, warm beds and toys.  I am proud of my ability to "puppy" and enjoy my squirrel and beaver toys, plus the bones for chewing.  

 

I am a really good boy when walking on a leash and enjoy exploring the yard and walking to the mailbox. New things make me nervous at first, but I relax with time. I ride well in the car, but don't know how to get in or out on my own. I am still figuring out why the hoomans here expect me to potty outside. Where ever I was before I didn't have these rules so they have to watch me closely. I'm okay with the kennel for eating or drinking, but don't love being closed into it.  When I am left alone, I tend to have accidents. They tell me I need to learn my kennel is a happy place and I should keep it clean. I much prefer to be with my people.

 

I do well with elementary aged children and adults alike. And with proper introduction, I have shown proper manners and play with dogs my size. I don't know any smaller dogs or cats, so I don't know if we get along.
