Hey I’m Calypso but you can call me Callie! I'm a 9-10 month old labradoodle.  I’m starting my new life here with NDLB so everything is new to me including living in a home. I love people of all ages, dogs, the outdoors, and comfy beds! I haven’t been exposed to cats yet. I’d probably benefit from a dog sibling as they can guide me on being a pet. My foster mom says I’m a smart girl because I figured out how to use doors and stairs within the first 12 hours of seeing them! I’m working on doing my business outside instead of on peepads. I get lots of praise and treats when I go outside - love both of those things so I’ll be house trained soon. I happily go in my kennel to eat and hangout, although I will bark a bit to let you know you left me in there if you disappear. I’ve been sleeping at the foot of the bed because I’m great at holding my bladder all night long. Riding in a car is ok - I don’t get sick or nervous or anything, but it’s not relaxing for me yet. Walking with people is fun and something I’m good at! My foster family says I’ll be a great hiking/walking/running partner someday! I like playing with toys, napping, and exploring outside. I really want to chase the squirrels but I’m learning to “leave it”. I also like to check out what’s on the counter so I hear “off” a lot. What can I say, I’m a growing puppy and always hungry! My foster mom says we are working on my manners. Additional notes: listed as a labradoodle but has a cute schnauzer face with soulful eyes. Coat is soft and wavy, minimal shedder but would not assume hypoallergenic. About 9 months old and 40#, tall and lean gal. Unlike many breeder release dogs, Callie isn’t anxious or fearful. She has been well socialized to people and dogs and is adapting quickly to family life!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:
