Hi, I’m Kirk! Just a young golden retriever pup born approx. 2/1/21 with a heart of gold. Some things you should know about me right away: I am a breeder release, which means I didn’t get much human interaction or know what it means to be loved. This means that it takes me some time to warm up to you. I’m timid and shy but once I am familiar with who you are, I’m a lover! So, please be patient with me as I learn what it’s like be a dog and feel loved. I promise I will be worth your time. I currently haven’t had any experience with cats or children but I think I would be okay with kids and other dogs! Right now, I love playing chase with my foster siblings and playing with toys that I can carry around with me in my mouth. You’ll notice that despite me being less than a year old, I am doing so well with playing with other dogs and playing with toys. Currently, I am working on basic commands such as sit and stay, and going potty outside. I’ve only had 1 accident in the house so I think I’ve got the hang of it! I absolutely LOVE being outside and I think I’ll be a great adventure buddy. I walk well on a leash and am sure that once we establish some trust that I’ll be a quick learner with other skills. If it were up to me, I would love to be in a home with at least one other dog to keep me entertained and relaxed. Right now, I sleep in a kennel with my breeder release “brother” and would like to have a companion to do the same with in my forever home. When I have to kennel during the day, I don’t always like going into the kennel but shortly after, I relax and take a nice nap until I get to come out. I also sleep through the entire night and don’t have accidents in my kennel— which basically means I’m already your favorite pet.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, dental,prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX, dental , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $950.00
