Nala is the sweetest girl ever! She is a 2-year old Tibetan Mastiff that came to us from a breeder release. She is still a little shy with human people still but has been nothing but nice to our resident dog and two cats. She loves spending time in her kennel and has slept through the night in it since we got her. The kennel is in our bedroom. She enjoys spending time in there even with the door open on her own when she needs some space. When approached by us she steps back slowly but realizes quickly when the pets come that she enjoys it. She LOVES being outside and I think will benefit from a large fenced in yard to spend time in. She walks well on a leash for the most part. We have been taking her on long walks and she enjoys that. She does have accidents in the house and we are working on that. I truly believe with a yard to roam they would become much less often. She doesn’t seem to enjoy going while leashed. We have left her twice since we got her and the first time she did really well and calmed down quickly. The second time we ended up coming home because she just wouldn’t settle. I think having another dog to keep her company near her would help this as well. We have to keep her with the door closed now because she is in heat and our dog is a male We have yet to hear her bark so I can’t say what that would sound like. She will be a great family dog after a bit more time to adjust to being part of a home.
