Lassie is just such a sweet girl. She is a 60 lb. Australian Shepherd that came from a breeder, so we don't know how she was treated prior to her coming to live in a house with a family. She is doing wonderfully though. She loves attention and is so excited when her foster mom walks in the room. When you go towards her to pet her, she just plops over for a nice belly rub, no matter if it's inside the house or outside in the snow. She just wants to be next to her people. She hasn't figured out the comfort of dog beds and rather lays on the floor. She also doesn't go on the couch. She still has so much to learn in this new life of hers.

She's so quiet, barely makes a peep. She's also great in the car and makes a great co-pilot.

We are still working on house training. She does well though.

She also does great on the leash, just wants to sniff around.

So far she has not shown any interest in toys, but loves a good nylabone.

Speaking of interest, she really shows a lot of interest in the cats at her foster home. A house without cats would be best. But for that, she should probably have another canine friend that will help her feel more comfortable.

Another thing she loves, is running around outside with her foster sister. She's not a fan of the snow but will get used to in due time. 

She is quiet in her kennel but is usually fine when left home alone.

She also is quiet fascinated by her own image in the mirror. Who can blame her as she is very beautiful. She also loves to lay on the rug in front of the door. 

Overall she's just such a happy girl and get more outgoing every day.

We don't have any small children in the home but she does great with the teenagers around her. There is no preference between male and female.
