Meet Lio. He's a lab mix born approx. 9/5/21.  Let me t ell you ... this one, he's a keeper. He is lovely. A dollface. In fact, if we did not have a resident senior and a teen/young adult pup still in training, well, we would apply to keep him. Seriously. Lio is an amazing little guy. He is gentle and friendly. He bounces in the snow and chills in the house. We'd consider him still in training, potty-wise, because of his young age. Except, there has not been a single accident. None. He rests in his crate like a champion who has had crate training. He sleeps all night and politely waits to be greeted in the morning. We are working on going to a mat ("place") and sitting for a treat. Already. He takes treats gently and hops right on over for snuggles and pets when we call. We are so excited to foster this little man, and we can't wait to see who is ready to bring him home forever. 

 
What/whom does he like? Everyone. Kids, young and teen, he loves. Adult dogs, high five. The 20 month old resident puppy friend, more high five. Toys, soft to snuggle and chewy to chew. Check. Things he is not supposed to chew? Nope. He just snuggles up to them. No cats here, so we don't know. But he is a baby, so likely trainable by a cat or kitten friend, too. Or a friendly bird. The postman. Seriously, he is like that. One of a kind. An old soul in puppy form. 
 
Start standing in line. Cuz, 'Cara Messi, this little dude here, Lio(nbel), he will make the best forever friend you could hope for. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX test, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00
