Hi! I’m Violetta!

I am a super sweet girl who loves her people. I love hugs- I like giving them- and I love giving kisses. A lot. I like to be near my humans but I’m okay alone too.

I’d be great as an only dog or with time and patience and training, I’d be okay with a non reactive dog as right now I tend to be a bit aggressive to other dogs  that I don’t know. But I love my foster brothers and play rough with them all time.  With some good training I’m sure I can learn to be okay with other dogs. I’m super fast! And I love to run. I’m also really great playing by myself. I will throw toys or wood chips or what ever I find ,all around. It’s pretty cute.I like water on my terms and do like to play in the doggie pool. I do need to be watched outside and inside as I still eat things that could hurt me. But I’m pretty easy. I listen pretty good most of the time. After some good exercise I will nap and be really mellow. I’m also a sensitive girl.

I kennel like a dream and go in when ever I’m asked . I have a few Kong toys in there so I have something to do.  I have the largest kennel they make so it’s super comfortable in there. I LOVE food! So training me will be easy if you have treats.

I know the basics- sit, stay, wait, kennel, shake, down, off. I even will wait for my food after it gets set down until I’m told “ok take”. I’m very smart. I do get very excited and like to jump on people, my foster parents work with  me everyday on that. I get fed separate from my brothers as I can be a bit resource guarding with food. 

I always go potty outside, I go out on a regular schedule . I sleep through the night great.  I still get a bit skittish about being outside at night if my mom is not right next to me…but she never ever lets any of us dogs be outside alone ever.  

I would really love to find my forever home with someone who is willing to put time in training me more so I can be the best I can be. Did I say how cute and super sweet I am? Oh and I’m funny too!! I will keep you laughing. I’ll be your best friend forever.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX test, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
