Meet Jelly Jam! She is a pomeranian mix around 1.5 years old. This sweet little lady has soft fluffy fur and likes to snuggle. She was found muddy and running around the reservation in South Dakota, but sure cleans up nicely! She likes wearing cute sweaters, but doesn’t enjoy wearing a collar, constantly scratching at it. We’ve tried different collars and hopefully she’ll get used to it. Jelly Jam weighs around 13 lbs. and is potty trained on a schedule. She is pretty good at walking on a leash, although she will occasionally trip you up as she stops swiftly when an interesting smell catches her attention, but we are working on that.  If she sees another dog, she will stop and stare, but so far doesn’t bark. Not even the delivery guy is a threat! Jelly Jam is good with the resident dog, who is her same size, and is respectful of his food dish.  She waits to finish up what he doesn’t eat when he is done. She loves a good squeaky toy and enjoys chew bones too.  She occasionally picks up a shoe and runs off with it but is good at dropping it when told.  She isn’t super treat oriented, but rather trots over to her bowl after returning from a walk for a little snack. She is good around kids and likes pets from strangers. She seems intimidated by larger dogs but is not fixated on them.  She is mostly pretty chill, ignoring crowds and loud people and isn’t even afraid of the vacuum cleaner! Jelly Jam is, however, a bit of an escape artist, but the word No is becoming more familiar to her. Mostly she is content to lay at your feet while working and just be near you.
