Roberta "Birdie" was born approx. 3/12/21. She is a petite Shepard mix at about 45lbs. Birdie is already house trained, comes when asked, sits, shakes and lays down for treats. Does well in kennel at night but is vocal if we need to put her in there during the day when we leave. We currently do her feedings in the kennel and goes in automatically when she notices her bowl come out. She is a typical older puppy that loves to play but will cuddle and relax after a little play time. ( She LOVES to cuddle!) She gets along very well with other dogs, adults and kids. She plays very well with my malamute mix who is 75 lbs. Gives my 8 and 15 year old daughters tons of kisses and cuddles!! When we picked her up we were told she had been aggressive to a cat so a home without cats would be necessary. Birdie is still teething so she needs lots of toys that let her chew in a positive way. We have only gone on short leashed walks in the yard due to the weather and her spay but doesn't pull much and when asked stops pulling altogether. We have not had any problems redirecting her. Birdie is very intelligent and such loving girl! I'm positive she will make a wonderful addition to your family. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
