Ivan is a middle-aged labrador retriever around 5 years old.  He is a 65 lb lap-dog who loves to nap near his people and is always ready to cuddle. Ivan enjoys spending time outside and plays well with the other dogs in the home but doesn’t have endless puppy energy.  He’ll chase the ball for a while but then is content to find a sunny spot to chew a toy or roll around in the grass.  Ivan is house trained and has had no accidents with us. Like most labs, Ivan is food-motivated and appears to be familiar with some basic obedience commands.  He can even catch treats in the air!  Ivan is looking for a family to give him the love and attention he deserves. We believe Ivan would do well with or without another dog companion. He hasn’t been formally tested with cats but he’s a pretty easy going guy and seems unfazed by squirrels and rabbits in the yard.  Because he is a little older and has occasionally stiffness in his back leg from a previous surgery, we feel Ivan would be best suited either to a home without children or one with older, respectful kids.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
