Hi, my name is Toby. I'm approx. 3 years old. I came from Mexico where a rescue in Tijuana saved me. I was covered in filth, had distemper and mange. I was in pretty rough shape. The distemper has left me with a slight tic in my face, it does not bother me though it just makes me unique. Once I was healthy enough I came to Minnesota to find my forever home. I’m such a good boy. My foster mom says I’m so chill. I really just enjoy my life. I love love love car rides especially when you crack the window for me and I get to feel the breeze on my face. My favorite place to go with my foster mom is to brewery’s. I like most dogs and will play with them but dominant dogs just don’t tend to mix well with me. They tend to scare me and make me a little uneasy so submissive dogs are best. I will play with other dogs occasionally but tend to enjoy playing by myself more. I do live with 2 dog foster siblings, one is dominant and we don’t really play, the other is very submissive and I will play with him when I get excited. I love my toys, bones and food and will occasionally resource guard them and tell the other dogs off. I mean for real though can ya blame me? I am not use to all of this good stuff around. My foster mom thinks with time and some training I will understand that I can have all the toys and food in the world. I do have a small prey drive so cats or little creatures in the home are not for me but outside they don’t tend to bother me and I don’t really chase them. I am a very smart boy and will go to the door and ask you to go outside when I have to go potty. I am fully kennel trained and honestly don’t mind being in my kennel. I sometimes sleep in my kennel and sometimes sleep in my foster moms bed. I sleep though the night and am a good boy either way. I know sit, shake and am working on lay down. Funny thing I was taught all these commands in Spanish and will still respond to them in Spanish but am slowly working on the English commands. I have come along way and am now just a pretty boy looking for my forever home. Anyways do you think i’m your man?
