Hi! My name is Ice. I am a dalmatian born approx. 9/6/2020, but I’m a small dude. I weigh about 35 pounds! I am one smart boy. I am kenneled trained as well as potty trained. I know sit, come, and know how to walk nicely on a leash. I love playing with my resident dogs a lot! I am great at modifying my play style to the needs of my playmate. I am great at free roaming the house but do sleep in my kennel at night because I just love toys so much and will take out the kids stuffed toys thinking they’re mine. I do not get into any trouble or chew anything if left unattended during the day. I do take a few minutes to warm up to new people but once I warm up I love a lot of pets and snuggles! I love yo rub my entire teeny body all over you. I am good with kids, cats (even kittens) , and bunnies! I have gone outside on a tie out before and do great. I now have a fenced yard to play in and love that too. I’m pretty easy going as far as my environment goes. I go out and do my job and want to come right back in when it’s cold out. I’m a baby in the cold…which is funny…because my name is Ice. I ride like a perfect gentleman in the car. I curl up in the seat and lay down the whole ride. I know how to sit and wait for treats and will know how to lay down soon! When I came into the rescue I had some urine staining. My foster mom is working hard to clear that up. I was transferred to no dog left behind from a smaller rescue. Between the two rescues it has been identified that I have some sort of urinary issue. I will occasionally leak urine and it’s definitely not some thing I can control. The rescue has worked very diligently in trying to find a solution and possibly a cause. As of now I have a prescription diet which I must stick to. I can’t even have treats so my food must be used as training incentives… otherwise toys or a ball works as well… or better yet, affection! I am on a relatively unexpected medication that I must take three times daily. This regimen has made it so I leak incredibly rarely. I’ve been told that dalmatians are prone to urinary struggles so hope to find somebody who loves my breed and is understanding of my condition. Will you be my FUREVER family?!?!
