Otis is a 4 month old black lab. He is about 45 pounds. He is currently being housetrained. He will go to the door to go outside without an issue! We are in the process of kennel training. He sleeps in his kennel at night. Sometimes he will whimper, but once we put music on, he is fast asleep for the entire night. We are attempting to leave. Otis in the kennel for 4-5 hours a day when fosters are out at work. Otis is great with other dogs and humans. He enjoys playing with his foster parents and their two large dogs; male and female lab mixes. He does have the tendency to bite while playing; we are working on that! He enjoys his walks and does well on his leash. He will bring his leash to you when he is ready to go! He also loves playing fetch. Otis does well with car rides while in his kennel. He has the normal puppy energy, but does recognize when it is time to relax and snuggle. He is learning some commands including sit, stay, come, drop, leave it. He loves his squeaky toys and his new favorite treat- carrots.
Otis does have a sensitive tummy and we have found keeping him on prescription food.
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
